21st March 2015

In the afternoon of the 16th and morning of the 17th of April we hosted three more different tournaments on the Kingfield pitch.

For the boys tournament we had fifteen teams compete in the year four competition. There was some great football played by the boys and the eventual winners were Byfleet School with Pyrford worthy runners up.

It was the turn of Year 4,5 & 6 Girls to perform. This time eighteen teams took part, winners of the Year 4 competition were St Pauls with West Byfleet runners up.

The Year 5/6 girls played some great football and the final was between two very competitive teams. Pirbright emerged winners having not conceded a goal during the entire competition with St Bedes worthy runners up.

The Final tournament held on friday morning was the Special Needs Football Tournament. Five special needs teams competed with everyone having a fantastic time. All participants went home with a medal, water bottle and a trophy for their school.

Walking Football Tournament 15

21st April 2015

On Thursday 16th we held our first ever Walking Football Tournament on the Kingfield pitch, we were delighted that Brian Lee Chairman of the Football Conference was able to join us along with his wife Shirley Anne.

Twelve teams took part including one from Portsmouth, two from Bracknell and Uxbridge. Woking were also represented and put in a sterling performance finishing runners up. Uxbridge were crowned winners in a nail biting final.

Prior to the award ceremony the Community Team presented Brian Lee with a small gift marking his support of Conference clubs Community work.

We have received some great comments from teams and this will now become a regular event on our calendar.
