Bustler Buses Partnership

January 16, 2017

The Community are pleased to announce a new partnership with Bustler Buses. Bustler Dial-a-Ride is a door to door transport service available to residents within the Woking borough who have reduced mobility.  The buses are specially adapted to cater for people with all disabilities including those who require wheelchairs or assistance dogs.

The service is not just available to those with a permanent disability but can be used by anybody who has difficulty accessing normal public transport.  An escort may also travel with you free of charge if you need extra assistance.

They collect you from your front door and take you wherever you wish to go – and bring you home again of course!

The service operates Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 4.30 pm and on Saturdays 9.00 am to 1.30 pm.

In order to make a trip on Bustler Dial-a Ride, you must first become a registered user.  It does not cost anything to join and there is no annual membership fee.

Dial-a-Ride can take you anywhere within Woking borough, they also offer a hospital service to St Peter’s, Ashford and the Royal Surrey Hospital.

To book a trip on Bustler Dial-a-Ride, ring the booking line on 01483 724433 between 09:30 and 11:30 in the morning, or 2:30 and 4:00 in the afternoon.  Agree a pick up and return time with their operator and Dial-a-Ride will collect you from your home.

Please remember – your trip on Bustler must be booked in advance.

Our partnership will see us using Bustler Buses to take residents from the Care Homes we work with on days out and their service station in Goldsworth Road helping with the maintenance of the schemes vehicles.
